• Tim Farrell performs residency programs for schools, organizations and special projects. Each residency is custom designed in collaboration with the sponsoring organization to suit their needs and/or curriculum. Programs may be customized for all age groups and all skill levels. Both hands-on and interactive question and answer sessions are available.
• Tim provides private guitar instruction covering all aspects of the guitar to students of all ages and skill levels. Tim is world known as a fingerstyle guitarist plus he has experience in many different styles of music and guitar playing. Private lessons are designed to meet the needs and desires of each individual student.
• Tim offers lessons in his Bucks County, PA home and at the Community Conservatory in Doylestown, PA. Many students in other locations also take advantage of meeting with Tim for a private lesson while he is traveling for concerts and workshops.
• Tim is also happy to offer individual guitar lessons direct to you in the comfort of your own home via Skype or FaceTime. Lessons can be scheduled at a time convenient to the student and teacher.
• Tim conducts workshops and master classes on many facets of guitar music covering everything from the basics to very specific topics. Workshops vary from subjects such as fingerstyle basics, arranging pieces for fingerstyle guitar, making your playing more musical, alternate tunings and techniques, examining Tim's original compositions and playing style and more ...
• Tim is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Stretched Strings Concert and Workshop Series
Stretched Strings Concert and Workshop Series is dedicated to presenting a broad spectrum of music that expresses the pure beauty of precisely stretched strings vibrating in sympathy with beautiful wood. We feature the finest artists working today in an intimate and inspiring setting. Each event features a concert by a world class guest artist who showcases his or her unique musical vision. There is also an up-close workshop in which the guest artist discusses their personal style and area of expertise. Each concert is hosted by the Resident Artist and Artistic Director Tim Farrell, who performs solo and alongside each guest artist. Tim facilitates and teaches along side of the guest artist at each of the workshops.
